The US Armed Forces had transformed itself into some strange hybrid - a soldier-civilian military. The shocking conclusion? Incredibly, in reality, no US voluntary existed!!! Instead, the disturbing truth! ONLY A PARTIAL VOLUNTEER-SOLDIER MILITARY; WITH A PARTIAL
CIVILIAN-VOLUNTEER MILITARY exists!?%$!? WHAT??? Something does not pass THE SMELL TEST?
The unvarnished TRUTH IS: The USA built a voluntary soldier-volunteer military; however, with a disquieting exception. Simultaneously, unbeknownst to most, incredibly, there EXISTS an substantial overpaid "joint civilian military!" Civilian personnel encompassing and embracing military duties! Civilians performing functions previously [and presently] carried out by soldiers. Yes. It is true. Soldiers voluntarily join and serve in the military . Conversely, it was shocking to uncover many tasks previously done by soldiers are presently performed by civilian independent contractors. Like providing meals. Frighteningly, providing "SECURITY?" Yes. Alarming to discover civilian [independent contractors] security functions include actual combat - if necessary. As if they were soldiers. Hello??? All of this accomplished at preventable enormous expense. By the Defense Departmentawarding individual; and, especially, immense CORPORATE contracts. Some non-bid; as with Halliburton's. This is why the defense budget annually skyrockets exponentially. Unchecked by a Congress fearful of the potential accusation of being unpatriotic. Why the US is currently expending over $400 billion annually. When, during The Cold War, average defense budget ranged between $300-350 billion. This is why the Afghan and Iraq wars are costing between $200 -300 billion so far. All moneys spent without oversight for legal and illegal corruption. No fiscal Inspectors General en masse ordered here? Yes. the blunt truth sis: some greedy mega-corporations are not profiting; rather dishonorably profiteering. TWO-YEAR PUBLIC SERVICE PROGRAM must be instituted for all citizens between the ages of 18-25. After a 6-month training period, within the participant’s selected occupation, the 2-year service would commence. The obligation’s precise dating to be decided BY LOTTERY. [Failure to perform public service would subject the malefactor to incarceration for a maximum of 2 years and $10,000 fine. No exceptions. No exemptions, No deferments.] THE PARTICULARS: Individuals are guaranteed the option to choose civilian or military service. Once opting for civilian service, no person can be coerced to serve in a military capacity. . Service must be accomplished within borders of USA; except for necessary military duty abroad. Post training, service personnel are prioritized for distribution in following order of governmental needs: 1. First, the requirements of The Federal Government 2. The State Governments. 3. Lastly, local governments. A prevailing national wage is to be paid plus guaranteed housing, board and complete health coverage.

PERSONNEL: Additional benefits are awarded. For their 2 1/2 year service.
