A PENNY FOR YOUR THOUGHTS.
"Politics is a sacred calling to public service; not to a lifetime career in office." A Naive Voter
"A democracy is as good or bad as its citizens' ethics and wisdom. People merit the government they select; voted into power. After election, no moral right to complain exists. Any criticism mirrors their poor judgment. The figure of blame points at them. Non-voters earn what they donated - nothing." The Politician
"In a national emergency, a patriot voluntarily sacrifices his life. Heroically submerges with the Ship of State. Chicken-hawks purloin the lifeboats allocated women and children." The Politician, The Veteran, The Satirist and The Cynic." "America is the Titanic, inflexibly malformed, navigating an irreversible course. Plotted to unswervingly defythe largest iceberg in the North Atlantic." The Politician
"One dare not cry warning, nor sound the alarm, for fear being branded unpatriotic." The Politician
"Beware those intolerant of disagreement with their opinions. Who question the opposition's patriotism - insinuating guilt of treason. For their duplicity proclaims the extinction of liberty and democracy." The Politician
"Beware the politician campaigning as 'The Man of Leadership.' For Der Fuhrer translates into 'The Leader.'" The Politician
"Babbling a string of generalities is not leadership. Unambiguous [rational] pragmatic detailed proposals are. The former is devious prattle without vision or direction." The Politician
"My Jewish friends are well aware of what politicians, who are not specific, in effect, say 'Trust Me.' really mean" The Politician
"In an election year, a tax relief bill is creative accounting. It is simply a politician's way of saying, 'Hey, Stupid. Let me buy your vote.' That is, after he borrowed the capital from the general fund. Which debt you will ultimately be obligated to pay back." The Politician
"A good politician aspires for you a comparable prosperity he/she covets for themselves. They share your values insisting upon a living-wage job which values you. So, your family is provided for, as they affluently care for theirs." The Politician
"Politicians who say one thing but do another, must never be elected. Promises unfunded remain mere expectations raised, but unfulfilled. Insincere hollow words evaporating in the wind." The Politician
Let us all pray placing our nation in The Father's Hands.9:16 AM 11/1/04 THE ELECTION DAY PRAYER
Father, We pray, direct our decisions on this election day. Reveal Wisdom to cast our ballots in Virtue's way. Guide us to the right thing - our dictates of conscience to follow. May we remain true to Justice - dedicated to our nation's ideals. Pursuing democracy's blessings, for all, not just benefiting ourselves. Grant goodwill to our hearts, in these times so troubled with turmoil. May no one shame our reputation; may our electorate set an example. May our quest for the Reign of Peace, be broadcast throughout the world. After campaigns so abrasively hard-fought; give us insight to know each citizen did their responsible part. Exiting the polls unified by one thought; all harsh words, like our sins, should be forgiven - all be forgot. Never will divisions exist, strong enough, to divide this united nation. In opposition, never are we foes. Not enemies, rather citizen-friends. A giant family bonded forever as one, loving each other as Americans. The Theologian, The Philosopher, The Politician, et al BARBARIANS MUST REMEMBER: THERE IS TUESDAY, THEN THERE IS WEDNESDAY Politics is merely Politics. Important, but not the center of our lives. On Tuesday, we take our ballots in hand. On Wednesday, or soon thereafter, we unite behind our President-Elect. ALWAYS AMERICANS FIRST, LIBERALS AND CONSERVATIVES - SECOND. After THE FATHER, America is our greatest love. Let no foe or BARBARIAN" forget that TRUTH! The Philosopher

WHAT DOES THE AVERAGE AMERICAN BELIEVE? [BLUE OR RED] ARE WE HOPELESSLY POLARIZED? THE ANSWER: ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! THE QUESTION IS? HOMOGENEITY OR HETEROGENEITY? i.e. America has become Homogeneous. THE POLITICAL ELITISTS CLASSES ARE POLARIZED. THEY POLITICALLY POLARIZE VOTERS. OTHERWISE, AMERICANS POSSESS ALMOST THE SAME BELIEF SYSTEM. Moderate. To be continued... [SOURCES: SEE: Repeated studies of scholars at conservative HOOVER INSTITUTE and especially the works of Professor Thomas Dye, Florida State University (conservative to moderate political scientist who accurately reflects the mainstream - conclusions of scholarship majority. A NATION DIVIDED? America bestows choice - The People's Voice - national elections. From this cause is effected the future's direction. So, why the national debate? There are decisions to make. All dependent upon Democracy's Fate. Contingent on the nation's good judgment, or volatility. Perhaps, picking regeneration of vitality? Imprudently, perhaps, our mortality? Sometimes, Man triumphs by his integrity. However, History confirms he is his worst enemy. At variance, perpetual quarreling - disputes - disagreement. Democracy's clashing opinions - squabbling - heated arguments. But, remembering, in the end, all are fatalities of iniquity. Certainly: Hatred is not Love. No goodness is ever born of badness. No longer the pursuit of happiness. Angry nations easily descend into madness. Reason forsaken is Emotion's orphan. Unsound decisions derive from passions . The predictable inevitability of tribulations. For irate voters' govern by unwise selections. Concluding in the wrong candidate's election. Was it not true, in World War II? Was not democracy forsaken by the charming hate-filled few? Is our nation divided? Of course... nothing new. So, think, this day, by ballot, what you do; or, do not do. As for America... divided? ... Be it, always at odds; but, always United. The Philosopher 11:10 AM 10/9/04
