PHILOSOHPY: >>>>>>> IS THE LOVE OF WISDOM; AND ITS ACQUISITION, BY SEARCHING FOR IT.
THERE IS NOTHING MORE DANGEROUS THAN AN EDUCATED IGNORANT MAN, ONE WITH ALL THE ANSWERS, ALL OF WHICH ARE WRONG.
BOOKS TEACH WHAT IS KNOWN; YOUR LIFE'S SEARCH EXPLORES THE REST.
THE REST IS: ALL REVEALED IN THE MACRCO AND MICRO UNIVERSES
JESUS CHRIST WAS PRIMARILY A PHILOSOPHER TEACHING US "THE WAY" - THE TRUTH. Because all create for themselves their OWN TRUTH, which may or may not be THE TRUTH.

THE PHILOSOPHER DESTINY OF RIGHTEOUSNESS "There is a time to fight for what you believe. There is a time to accept a defeat in your pursuit. There is a time to mourn your loss - to heal your wounds. REGARDING GOOD HUMOR
"Good Humor's object always has a "victim?" who voluntarily tolerates the expense. An insignificant price to preserve society's solitary steam valve. Nevertheless, the question arises whether a society [and its individuals] are sufficiently humble, modest and self-effacing to consent to a reasonable good-natured teasing - a light banter. Or, whether they descend to the low road of pretensions - exaggerated, hollow counterfeit accusations alleging insult. For a society so inflexible and dogmatic [it no longer freely laughs at its foibles] is precariously fragile and brittle soon destined to fragment asunder." The Philosopher
"All possess a right to profit, from the fruits of their labors, but no one possesses the right to profiteer at the expense of society - their fellow man." The Philosopher
"The moral pursuit of one's self-interest terminates at the unjust devastation of another's self-interest. Individuals without ethical limits are without honor." The Philosopher 9:42 AM 9/28/04

"A character accusation not responded to, is believed.""The Philosopher"
"Fear stampedes the Herd over the cliff.""The Philosopher"
"A man who plays it safe, fears danger; real, or imagined. In the end, it will confront him." "The Philosopher"
Humor has ethical limits. The debate is exactly what they are.
Ignorance is not the lack of Knowledge; it is the refusal to seek Knowledge.
No man possesses Liberty without first possessing The Truth.
"Self-deception bars the entrance to Paradise." The Mystic
"Seeking your self-interest LAST, and all others' FIRST; guarantees entrance into Paradise." The Mystic
REJOICING IN ANOTHER'S SHAME8:54 AM 9/28/04
Rejoicing in another's humiliation - jubilation in a malicious sadistic game. Awaiting new revelations; delighting in embarrassing exposures of blame. Eagerly savoring the ongoing disintegration of a reputation being defamed. Better, yet. If the guilty be the foolish fault of their blunders into shame. Gratification in a respectable name's predation - a secret cruel amusement. Inviting one's personal affliction - scorn and ridicule for errors in judgment. Even a covert debt, due and outstanding, in this Valley of Tears and Torment; In eternity is decreed a liability in arrears; reimbursed by Misery's assignment. The Philosopher with The Theologian A MAJOR PURPOSE OF LIFE Daily, all are obliged to seek wisdom. Otherwise, we are morally responsible for the consequences of our negligent Ignorance. The Philosopher A SICKO-FANT IS: "A sicko-fant is an elephant with a stained brown trunk who obsequiously inserts it for unethical, unmeritorious career advancement. But then again, who, except for the most deluded hypocrite, can claim complete innocence in this ethical failure." The Satirist joined by The Philosopher "Whining about a problem, never solved a problem." "The Philosopher" Ancient Ukrainian proverb
"Doubt breeds doubt, confusion and inaction. Inaction breeds defeat!" "The Philosopher" Dan Rather's Forgiveness 5:46 AM 9/23/04 If Dan Rather is requesting forgiveness, then men of goodwill must grant it. Who has not erred by serious life mistakes? A fool never seeks forgiveness. Only declares absurd excuses; attempting to secrete them. Eventually, a man of character embarrassingly confronts the truth and consequences. The Father commands our forgiveness; He does not request it. "Father, Forgive us our trespasses (our mistakes), as we have forgiven those who trespassed (made mistakes or did wrong) against us." Each of us would desire forgiveness, if we were Dan Rather.

Suffer silently. All men suffer. But, do not suffer Injustice; nor, Ignorance's evil -silently. The Philosopher All men make mistakes. Men of character and honor attempt to rectify them - the best they can. Fools attempt to hide them. The Philosopher Politics is conflict. It is either: fight, flight or succumb to might. Not to be entered, if one fears a fight. "The Philosopher"

The first evolution toward salvation begins by the self-acknowledgement you are not the center of universe. Confronting the actuality you are not God reveals the pathway to discovering Him. The Theologian with The Mystic
Ignorance is Humorless The Philosopher "The definitions of A LIFE-LONG STUDENT and A MAN OF WISDOM --- are IDENTICAL" The Philosopher Look up! For, by Fate, there your impending destiny resides. the prophet YOU CANNOT FOOL ... "You cannot fool ALL the People ALL the time. However, you can fool ENOUGH of the people ENOUGH of the time." The Politician, The Cynic
SCIENCE? "In reality, Science is the study of God by objective means - empirical data. Theology is the speculative study of God by the usage of reason and logic. Religion is the dogmatic teaching of speculative theology as fundamental fact. However, Science, Theology, Religion and Human Reason will never fathom THE WONDERS WHICH 'IS' GOD. Only The Father understands Himself; not mere Man." The Theologian
THE GREATEST INSULT... "Life's greatest insult is to be ignored. The greatest honor to be satirized. Ask Jon Stewart (Mill) of The Daily Show." The Philosopher, The Satirist TWO ACTIONS SPEAK VOLUMES 1. How one saves or expends their wealth. 2. Where one's feet traverse them.
STRANGERS, ENEMIES, FRIENDS There are no strangers, only friends whose acquaintance we have not previously made. There are no enemies, just misinterpretations of our motives, people who misunderstand who we are. There exist no totally-evil men/women, just evil thoughts, beliefs, intent, words and deeds activated into reality. The Philosopher 11:38 AM 10/16/04
6:52 AM 10/20/04 REGARDING OPINIONS There are opinions. There are informed opinions. And, there allegedly exist expert opinions. Nevertheless, opinions remain what they are; merely one person's opinion. From another perspective, opinions are like armpits, every one possesses them, however some remain perpetually offensive and malodorous. However, just as no one can be required to surrender their armpits; neither does our constitution sanction opinions being frcibly relinquished. Thus, each is at liberty to proclaim their opinion as fact - the truth. Nonetheless, no one is obliged to trust their veracity or mental capacity. The Philosopher and The Satirist
"THE MAN WHO REFUSES TO ACCEPT WHO AND WHAT HE IS, BECOMES ACCUSED OF IT." THE PHILOSOPHER"A wise man, when he understands THE RIGHT THING to be done, does it; and, with dignity, accepts the consequences which follow." THE UNEMPLOYMENT CZAR: If I gain employment, enriched being elected to office; premised on ballots promising employment providing a living; while, unemployment escalates without restraint: a noticeably declining living-wage rate, families unable to provide life's necessaries, more impoverished lives struggling to survive; when optimism for an improved future expires; when posterity no longer anticipates prosperity; when the next generation's prospects threaten substandard lives; and, I am confronted by aggravating questions articulating people's misgivings; nevertheless, I assuage concerns; improperly reassuring them; not to worry, things are all right, be patient, prosperity's in the vicinity, things look bright; yet, I realize such employment is unachievable; unless a change of course is taken; economists whisper anxious warnings about the potential for the nation's annihilation; ... If I comprehend all these things, however, stubbornly reject safeguarding the nation's well-being; ... yes , I am a hypocrite ... worse, I am the assassin of the American Dream. THE MAN OF COMPASSION: If I vociferously proclaim myself a man of compassion; on the other hand, I am silent when injustice is afflicted upon my fellow man; and, do nothing to alleviate his suffering; = I am a hypocrite.
THE GOOD CITIZEN:
If I profess to be a dedicated and loyal citizen; brashly proclaiming love for my country; however, I avoid or evade paying my fair share of taxes; transferring my patriotic responsibility to society's less privileged; if I insist upon my day in court, while refusing another's representation by an attorney; if I allege affection for my grandparents, yet mandate reductions in their Social Security and Medicare; if I believe and do all these things; = I am a hypocrite.
THE CANDIDATE FOR OFFICE: If I am a candidate for office; and, I exploit God and religion to acquire votes; pander to sexual allegations about my challenger; if I question my opponent's values; if I promise wonderful proposals, but do not honor them when elected; if I feign advocacy of the public interest; nevertheless, promote the wealth of the FEW, while diminishing the prosperity of the MANY; if I do these things; ======= I am a hypocrite.
Who are we as a Nation? Each American must choose, and politically activate their decision. Are we either: businessmen or warriors? We can no longer afford to be both! Blazing guns and bombs ignite a fleeting sense of power. Butter's sweet taste anticipates next year's cornucopia of abundance.
10:55 AM 7/26/04 Life's necessaries you desire; desire them for all others. Who can survive without affording them? Can one eat promises? A man who dines on air, soon no longer is there. Does the sky provide shelter from life's storm's? If my human birthright grants me a right to life, then do I not contemporaneous acquire the right to employment? This defines the term job. Its denial is imposition of a death sentence?
Beware the smiling politician who placates declaring the economy looks great in the future. Life consists of the short run and the long run. No one eats or pays their bills in the long run. Attempting to survive in the long run, one perishes in the short run. The time now, for a job.
Wealthy men are unconcerned whether a recession or depression transpires; confident he is provided for in luxury no matter the economic circumstance. The middle-class man worries about recession or depression looming on the horizon. His survival depends upon unemployment - three or four paychecks separating him from poverty. The poor man prays. Nothing separates him from poverty.
A nation's power is founded upon: economic viability, fiscal solvency, business capital investment, and confidence of future prosperity.
The constitution ensures the right to contract; to profit, however, not to exploit the populace by profiteering.
Nations exporting their means of production, dismember and cannibalize themselves.
American dream means in The Land of Opportunity everyone is given a chance to succeed. To become part of the Great Middle-Class the backbone of America. It is not the American nightmare, a Middle-Class teetering on the brink of extinction. 11:53 AM 7/21/04
